I would like to take this opportunity for you to get to know me. My life has had many ups and downs but through all things God has been my stronghold and passion. I was adopted at the age of eleven and became a Christian at the age of twelve. God blessed me with the desire to serve Him through music and working with teens. I attended Mid-America Christian University and majored in music and Christian Education. Spent 15 years of my life serving as a youth pastor with the desire to help other children who struggled or were seeking encouragement. I have been married to a wonderful man for 19 years and we adopted a little girl who is now 9 years of age.
I started teaching at a local Christian school - I teach elementary music, Jr. High Music/Drama and Texas History. I love teaching and working with kids. I believe we have the responsibility to encourage and train our kids for the future. I began losing my voice which was affecting my singing voice and teaching. Through many tests I found out that I have a liver disease caused from enzyme-deficiency which is hereditary. The future for my healing will be a liver transplant or a special touch from God. I have many people praying for healing and strength. The medical expenses for my recovery will be extensive and have already begun with several medical tests, surgeries, and medications. I appreciate any support that will help in my recovery so I can continue to do what God has called me to do through faithful service.
