Americana Festival
Several individuals have worked very hard to put together a fundraiser to benefit R.J. Hagood Jr., an individual who resides in Denison, Grayson County Texas. R.J. is currently a board certified criminal attorney. He played football at Austin College in Sherman for four years and was a member of the Charles Alan Wright’s Legal Eagles football team in law school at UT. He is married, has four children and four grandchildren.
R.J. is a very well known and respected attorney here in Grayson County (and Collin and Fannin), who is currently in need of a liver transplant and he does not have insurance. He has always been able to afford to pay for his medical expenses until now. His doctor has informed him that he needs to seriously make plans and have the transplant early this next year if he wants to survive. The medical costs for the surgery will exceed $200,000! R.J. simply cannot afford to do this on his own.
Many of his friends have come together to help R.J and are hosting a musical festival in McKinney to help raise money for R.J. All proceeds of the festival will go directly to NTAF to help R.J. pay for his medical expenses.
