Family and friends of Stephanie Briggs are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with her lung transplant. Stephanie lives in Limerick, ME and is being treated at Brigham & Women's Hospital. Stephanie had been actively waiting for lungs since July 6, 2009. On March 17, 2010, Stephanie received her double lung transplant thanks to her generous donor and his/her family.
