Olivia, I too was sick and hurting, more on than off and for the longest time, until I had my transplant a year ago this coming New Year''s Eve. (Like your friend, mine was my liver.) Let me tell you, the best thing about being really, really down is that there''s only one way to go, and that''s really, really up! Keep your eyes on THAT prize, and you''re already OK. I''ll let that be my Christmas wish for you and your Mom.
